In Salesforce’s five-month cohort, we will be learning the following topics which will make us overall strong developer and ready for a real-world working environment.
Salesforce Administration
- Understanding the Salesforce platform and its features
- Creating and managing custom objects, fields, and relationships
- Customizing Salesforce with fields, page layouts, and workflow rules
- Creating reports and dashboards
- Setting up and managing automation with process builder and flows
- User and access management
- Data management and security
- Tools: Salesforce, data import, workbench
Apex
- Understanding the Salesforce platform and its architecture
- Basics of apex, like, datatypes, collections, and control flow statements.
- Writing and deploying test classes and triggers
- Working with data using SOQL and SOSL queries
- Debugging and troubleshooting Apex code
- Integrating Salesforce with other systems and applications using APIs
- Tools: Salesforce CLI, SFDX, Vs Code, Developer console.
LWC
- Introduction to Lightning Web Components and the Salesforce Lightning Design System
- Creating and styling LWCs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Interacting with data using Lightning Data Service and Apex controllers
- Handling user events and building interactive components
- Creating reusable LWCs
- Deploying LWCs to a Salesforce org
- Tools: Salesforce CLI, SFDX, Vs Code, Developer console.
Git
- Introduction to Git, version control, and the Git workflow
- Setting up a local Git repository and working with Git commands, such as clone, add, commit, push, and pull
- Branching and merging using Git
- Collaborating with others using remote Git repositories on GitHub, including creating a repository, forking, and cloning
- Understanding the GitHub pull request workflow
Front End (HTML and CSS)
- Introduction to HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles
- Creating web pages using HTML tags, attributes, and semantic markup
- Styling web pages using CSS, including selectors, properties, and values
- Layouts and positioning using CSS
- Accessibility and best practices for web development
- Introduction to CSS
Javascript
- Introduction to JavaScript and its uses in web development
- Basic syntax and data types, including variables, strings, numbers, booleans, and arrays
- Conditionals and loops, including if/else statements, switch statements, and for/while loops
- Functions and scope, including parameters, return values
- Manipulating the Document Object Model (DOM) using JavaScript
- Events and event listeners, including click events, mouseover events, and form submissions
- Debugging and troubleshooting JavaScript code
Course Duration
5 month of training.
